I would highly recommend anyone coming to Hanoi to stay here. Our room was very clean and comfortable and I was surprised how quiet it was at night as it is on a very busy street in the Old Quarter, but after 10pm we hardly heard anything so we slept really well. It’s within walking distance to many great sights in Hanoi. The best thing however was the staff. They are so friendly and kind and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We were given an upgrade when we checked in to a bigger room which was lovely as we were staying for 6 nights so it was good to have some extra space. They gave us lots of information on tours and booked an amazing one for us to Halong Bay and also helped us to book a bus to our next destination in Vietnam (Hue). The food available in the restaurant is also delicious with a great variety of choices on the menu and much cheaper than anywhere else we saw. We don’t tend to eat in the same places repeated when we are away as we like to try different places but the food here was so nice we ate there two nights in a row!

I decided to go with a junior suite this time which wasn't much more than a regular room. The room was spacious plus it had a large balcony. The windows to the balcony also allowed a great deal of light to enter the room. Loved it! The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. I passed by one afternoon as the staff was enjoying hot pot and I commented how wonderful it smelled. They invited me to join them but I had to meet a friend. I ate at their restaurant and the food was good. I like the location as it is very close to the Long Bien Bridge and only 10 minutes to Hoen Kiem Lake. (If you are in Hanoi on a weekend, be sure to visit the lake as it is closed off to traffic and a lot of cool things are going on at the lake.) The hotel is close to many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and convenience stores. Also, the night market is very close to the hotel. Good value for your money!

We loved the decor of the hotel. The surrounding area was still being built but we enjoyed the peace and quiet. We also enjoyed envisioning how the area will become a busy, french quarter esq type of town in the coming years. We like the doorbell at the rooms, and the option to leave a light on the door signaling maid service/ do not disturb. The staff were contactable via WhatsApp and recommended popular restaurants and booked us taxis. About 20 mins walk from a theme park, water park and night bazaar/ more restaurants.

Excellent location with so many eateries and shops a few minutes away. We got a really big and comfortable room with a bathtub at a great price. Helpful staff, most especially Cuong who manned the daytime reception. He speaks great English and can help with various things you need, from motorcycles, to currency exchange, to tours, etc. Truly a bright spot of our stay. He even let us settle the bill early so we wouldn't have to do it at 4am when we left. They also helped us by parking and re-parking our rented scooter.

Our hotel was very well located in Hanoi old quarter. The room and bathroom were clean. Bed was good. I had a comfortable sleep at night. The hotel has a good selection of meals. We had Indian curry with rice, it was sumptuous. I loved my stay here. I recommend it to all the travellers who are visiting old quarters in Hanoi. Our hotel owner Thanh hien made all possible arrangements to make our stay comfortable at the holiday suites hotel and spa. Will definitely visit again.
